TORRES DEL PAINE 'W' TREK CLASSIC

The 'W' trek is the name given to the W shaped beaten track that interlinks the 3 Granite Paine Towers, the French Valley, and the Grey Glacier. The trek is approximately 70 kilometers (43 miles) in total distance and is one of the most scenic treks in the world.
The Classic W Trek program is our most popular multi-day adventure program. You can prepare and do the W trek on your own, however doing it with us will save you time, and your Patagonia visit will be well organized and efficient. Our reservation's team will be intially assisting you in understanding your program and will guide you in your plans. We will then be advising you in your logistical and physical preparations. And when you finally arrive here, in Puerto Natales, our Garden Domes hotel team will host you and provide trek briefings. The next day, our Chiletour team of guides and drivers will be assisting you on your first day as you get to know Torres del Paine for the first time, and after your Base of the Tower hike you will staying at the Tiny House right at the bottom portion of the Paine Massif where you will have one most beautiful views of the Paine Towers.

Two (2) nights stay in Puerto Natales at Garden Domes (based on double occupancy)

5 days trekking and 4 nights in dormitory bed: (1) Tiny House; (2) Domos Frances; (3) Paine Grande Lodge; (4) Grey Lodge

Day by Day:
Day 1: Arrival Day
Fly into either Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas or El Calafate (arrival at Calafate should be at least a day earlier). Bus Transfer to Puerto Natales. Welcome dinner & drinks followed by a W Trek briefing. Stay at Garden Domes. You either stay in a Cabin room accomodation (double/twin room sharing price) or in one of our luxury domes (additional charges).
Day 2: Private transfer to Torres del Paine National Park. Trek to Base Torres (18km, 7-8 hours trekking) with our tour guide and small group. After the hike you will be staying at the Tiny House where you will sleep in a 5 bedroom Tiny Cabin.
Day 3: This day you will trek alongside Lake Nordenskjold to Los Cuernos (The Horns) and Frances Area (14.6km, 6.5 hours). Stay at Domos Frances or Los Cuernos Lodge.
Day 4: Trek through the French Valley to Britanico Lookout to Paine Grande (20.3 km, 9 hours). Stay at Paine Grande Lodge.
Day 5: Trek from Paine Grande to Grey Glacier Area (11km, 3.5 hours). Optional Ice Trekking or Kayaking (additional charges). Stay at Grey Lodge.
Day 6: Trek back to Paine Grande from Grey Glacier Area (11km, 3.5 hours). Optional Kayaking. Take the catamaran across Lake Pehoe to reach your bus transfer back to Puerto Natales. Stay in Garden Domes or ChileTour Guest House (double/twin room sharing price).
